Deeside-headquartered Butler Builders is eyeing further growth after seeing turnover double in the last financial year.

The company, which specialises in design and build projects, also increased staff numbers during the period from nine to the current 22-strong team.

Butler Builders is led by Managing Director Andrew Butler, whose family have been building in North Wales for almost 100 years.

Andrew’s grandfather, William, was a well-known North Wales businessman whose firm, WS Butler, was highly regarded for the quality of its building work.

During the Second World War, WS Butler swung behind the war effort, building lifeboats that were floated at Shotton Docks before going on to the ships in Liverpool.

Today, Butler Builders works with both domestic and commercial customers in North Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire. For domestic customers, it delivers new builds, conversions, refurbishments and extensions for domestic customers; for commercial clients it handles everything from construction projects to office fit-outs.
